What Is the Dental Crown Placement Procedure?

During your first appointment, we will numb the area then prepare the tooth by removing some of its structure to accommodate your restoration. Next, we will make an impression of your teeth that our dental laboratory will use to create your dental crown. Before leaving our office, we will place a temporary crown on your prepared tooth to protect it.
When your new dental crown is ready, you will return to our office for a placement appointment. We will make sure your restoration provides a perfect fit, and then we will cement it in place.
